You don't even need a turbo...Cosworth has built N/a four cylinder engines that have hit 400-500hp!
nice car, to bad he had to dump a sh1t load of money into it just to get it to that point
After all is said and done a built GP is still a GP.
Just saying. Not a civic fan, but I'll appreciate anything built right.
All that and one of his headlights is not working? nice car though im a fan of imports.
Its not bad, I know civic's can be done right and look good, and he was doing that right up until he put green wheels on it. I don't care for this oddball wheel color thing.
Black/grey/charcoal/gold on white are the best combos.

I love clean, built imports, but the problem is there's too many damn imports done wrong in this world to make up for the rest of them. So when people talk about crappy hondas, more often they are in the right. lol But there's few things better than having rediculous hp in a sub 2000lb fwd car. The only downfall to most of these 4 cylinders is the lack of torque. As shelby says, HP sells, Torque wins races. An example: I know of a grand prix that dynoed at 430whp but ran 11.3's in the 1/4 mile while weighing in at 1,500lbs more than the nicely built honda mentioned here that dynoed 466whp running 11.6-12s.
An import done right, H23 swap- 89 prelude:

Ive said for a long time id rock a 92-95 civic coupe with a k swap and 300 na hp @ like 9k rpm lets be honest done right it would be like a crotch rocket on 4 wheels. Done clean with oem body paint, no turbo to mess with no sc to mess with ect ect. :th_thumbsup-wink:
I just have to put this out there!
someone mentioned a "4 banger" running 45 pounds of boost............ blah blah blah
But now lets play the game of take all those same "power adders" and put the equivalent on a v8.
I am not hating on this honda because to each his own and it does look like he put some work into it but there is still no replacement for displacement
Well thank you captain obvious. Most obvious statement ever. No **** a larger engine has a higher maximum potential. You have to consider the fact that v8 cars are also much more expensive from the factory. For example, take $35k, and buy a mustang gt, or whatever it costs. I'll take my $35k, assuming were paying sticker price for both cars, and buy a new cobalt ss (my car) costing $25k and use the extra $10k and put it into my car in mods. It will STOMP your stock v8. Point is, when money is no object, more displacement is better without a doubt. But dollar for dollar, a 4 cyl is a better deal, up until the point where you reach the maximum potential of the size of the engine.I just have to put this out there!
