• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Thermostat...

TorqueAutoMotiv

donated to get this wow
In class as a job we had to do a flush and a thermostat chagne on a 99 grand am
Watching my group start triing to get the cross over off was funny stuff Plus it took em 20 min to figure out where the petcok and thermo was

kids these days
In 3 hours time they almost finished just sad

Altho I will say mitchell says to remove the crossover aand it is in an od spot but still 3 hours and they still didnt finish

Everyone has to start somewhere. I have done a lot of stuff when working on cars that I would bet you would laugh at. Even now, I don't know everything and don't go around talking (internet or otherwise) like I know everything. On the same hand, if someone needs help, whether they ask or not, I am always willing to take the time to help them and hopefully teach them along the way. I don't laugh at them for not knowing or not understanding something. If they are willing to learn, I am more than willing to teach. I don't hold myself higher than anyone.

I was told by my instructor not to help and when id try and give them a helping hand or a little guidance they didnt want to listen
I actually like my group we are the only ones doing real work in the class

Its just that 2 of them are barely 18 and act as if they know it all
And my boy is the forth in our group and he's in his 30's like me and just sat back and watched them go...
We actually all laughed about it today

Still have to do a full flush and swap from dex to the green stuff and a pressure test on the system

Lulz. I've heard funny stories from shop class and the like.

"heres what you do if you want to make it look like you have a cat, but really dont."

That was my high school autoshop class when i chopped the cat off my 76 camaro and welded in a pipe in its place with a heat sheild around it lol
