• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

put some Gorilla glue on it....it'll be alright!!

Damn, now that's how you do it....lol the worst 3800 blow up Ive seen.

Oh yeah.....stop using those Fram filters man.

Well yeah, But i like to see if there are any particles in there. Or dirt or anything like that...There not expensive...20-30 bucks i think.

WOW good to see that someone has finally joined my ranks on engine destruction! Scotty can attest to this one. Unfortunatly i've done it twice. Damn vacuum line anyway.

That's enough for me to never buy them again. I need to get one of those filter cutters.

If you can find a pipe cutter big enough that will go around the filter, you can use something like that, but I bought a purpose built oil filter cutter/opener. It works fabulously and gives me yet another diagnostic tool when I work on customers cars or change oil for them, etc.

Ive cut open a few hundred filters over the years and I am just amazed at the poor quality in some of them. I mean, its down right scary, and to think most people just slap them on there with little consideration.

It did not sound like much. It just stopped. Then I heard peices falling out onto the ground while traveling 90MPH.

I wish a piston would have come out through the hood or something...Made it more woth while....And fun :th_laugh-lol3:

Good thing is your sense of humor is still in tact right?

:th_biggrin2:
