• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Street racing. 6700 RPM's. Won the race. That's about the only good thing that happend that night.

Waaay to tired to post statements on each of these pics. Have been outside for the last 7 hours working on the new turbo build.

Broke a valve off....chewed the other one up....broke a valve guide...Knocked the A/C compressor off of it mounts...Blew a hole through the side of the block...Broke a rod in half....shatered a piston....BENT the cam 2 INCHES upward....

Ya know all the good stuff.....

Ohhh....No thank god lol...The turbo build is what I have been working on all day today...This is the m90 setup that blew up...

ohhhhhhh i got you now...6700 seems a bit high, looks like it went lean and the high revs didnt help

It does look like it went lean judging from the look of tha valves and the spark plugs that were still in tact. I have a W/B now so hopefully that will help some.

Smart move! I need to get one, myself. Shoot, it may have prevented my little mishap...

I want to see what the cam looks like if you can get it out of the block to get a picture of it.

EDIT: Hey, is that oil level sensor any good? I'll be more than happy to take it off your hands! I kinda destroyed mine when I pulled the pan off last time...

Unfortunatly not. The cam was bent (stil in one peice) 2 INCHES upward twards the lifter galley. It was hitting the top of the lifter galley. I thought about getting my brother with the plasma cutter to cut the engine apart but it would have been a lot of trouble,

I don't know what to say except OUCH!!!!!!!! Hopefuly you can get everything bak up and running real soon.

HO-LY CRAP

dude, that is some bad luck right there. good luck with building up the turbo setup on such short notice.

You know, laying your engine in the dirt like that, its not good for it. You're liable to get all kinds of contamination in it. :th_biggrin2:

I call dibs on the connecting rod and the valve.
