It seems to me, every thread I read has more and more people trolling or arguing in it and the thread ends up closed :th_shakinghead1:

I just want to know why everyone is bickering so much.

It can't be that time of the month for you, the girls are being friendly... its the guys that are moody. Do we need moar Drunkie posts? Do peoples needs laid? Or what?

I know its the internetz and allz but the same people seem to be going off into random arguements when they use to get along. So if you needs to vent, say whats on your mind... knock off the chip on your shoulders and lets stop Nick from closing all the threads down. :th_mischievious:
 


You know, I don't come here everyday. But when I do, I see exactly what you are pointing out. People troll and start **** in threads, the thread gets locked, and nothing gets done about it. Don't we have some kind of policy that we can tell people to knock it off or they get banned? I don't like banning people. But it seems to be the same ones over and over that do this. And half the time it seems the mods will chastise the wrong people because they haven't been here as long or have as many posts. It is quite frustrating to see. And I completely understand why people have gotten fed up and left this forum.

I don't want to push for a "stop it or your banned" ideal, but something. I AM on here everyday, mostly during slower work hours, but alot from the 8-5 time frame... and it seems to be happening more and more.

I know alot of us joke around and most know who is a serious and who is playing, but all that aside, I like to read the fun threads and joke and help people out. Not sit here like :th_shakinghead1: reading arguments over who's got the bigger dick
 


we have been using the infraction system quite a bit more than when it was just the few of us before. the problem is that more and more new people are coming on the site and those of us that have been around for a while are just not acting accordingly anymore. there is a time and place for the badgering of others, but technical threads are not them.

This is also part of the reason you enlisted many more Moderators. I get that... try and keep the peace.

While I do also enjoy roasting other members, I agree technical threads are not the best place, thus the lounge and rants. But as one that is on regularly I felt something needed to be brought up. Im not a Mod so I don't get to see what happens in the "behind the curtain" private convos you guys have, so this is more of a "lets cuss and discuss" things.

I figure if people need to get something off their chest but don't want to open a thread, yell it and let it go... but if we can do anything to easy the days I think its worth it.
 
The problem is, at least from my experience from modding on other forums...if we start handing out infractions, and banning people left and right everytime they speak their mind, then there will be at least 3 or 4 threads like this. The only difference is they will be *****ing about how strict the mods are rather how they let sh*t fly that shouldn't.

Junking up tech, or FS threads is one thing, and from what I've seen that has been reduced. It is the internet though, you gotta ignore some people, and you gotta know when to pick your battles.

Seriously though I'd say it's cause: 1. this is THE INTERNET (shocker right?) and probably 90% of people on here could get banned and not really give much of a **** while the other 10% would probably just make another account or move onto a different forum 2. cause people on here probably enjoy being able to roast/get into fights with other members about something that makes next to 0 sense and have no real world consequences for it and 3. cause.....well cause this the internet and some people can hide all their bad qualities (immaturity, stupidity, @$$hole-ness etc) behind a username and not have a care in the world about it.
 
I see when it gets closer to holidays some ppl get angry , cause of money and just problem that come with them
