• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

The *Unofficial* GPF RC Thread

Awesome thread.

I have two. I've had an electric Rustler 2wd for about 10 years, i think the only thing that's original is the chassis.

Recently purchased a Arrma Senton 6s. This thing is a whole new experience...

Dated yes, but still badass! The bowie hardened cup I have needs to be shaved a few hundreths and it w ill fit! I fixed the screw and I will hook the programmer back up to the esc's and dial down that initial throttle so its not so dam stupid. ANd I will put 6"tx4"w monster truck tires on it when the time comes.

For now I took one of the lipos out, soldered a new plug on the ecx torment and drove for over 30min non stop today. Havent done that in years. Brushless and metal gears for the ecx and I think I will be golden. Things need to open up so I can try to fl y my plane at a park.

I left my Torment brushed. The Ruckus ended up with all of the goodies, I even did the 32p gear swap, I think I need a smaller spur and a bigger pinion though on 2s it wheelies like a mofo but is slow as all hell.

Pretty sure I have 19 cars now.

The ram isnt even worth the time, stupidly priced. I could build something faster, stronger for half that.

Right Scotty. They claim this will do 70+ with a gear change. I like where it’s at though. It’s a good balance of speed and acceleration

nitro not gas idiot old man.

30-35 is all you need for offroading. Hauling ass is fun on a big open coarse. On a street it gets old fast just zipping by, turning around, and zipping again.

So this thing is a turd. I kept breaking stub axles just running it around the rc track, the servo saver is a joke and basically useless, the plastic parts were too soft and flexible and it handled like crap.

Then this happened...... and guess what parts are basically non existent? So that this got scrapped.

And because one cannot have too many cars, I decided to pick up a NT48.3 roller off the RCTech classified section. Well short story long it would have cost me a few hundred dollars more to keep it nitro so I converted it to electric and tossed in a couple of upgrades while I was at it.
MC2 chassis stiffener kit.
M2C rear chassis brace.
M2C solid center brace.
Castle Creations Mamba Monster 2.
Arrma BLX185 2050kv motor.
Savox 2273SG servo.
I still need to trim and paint the ET48 body.

I dunno, I dont see it now. I dont know whats going on. YOu need more nitro monster trucks and 1/5

I've been trying to buy a RCMK XCR 2000 SE but they have been out of stock for over a year now and the Losi 5IVE-T 2.0 is out of stock as well. I don't want a nitro gas is much much cheaper.

Ya everything is gone now.

Fixed the tamiya, wheel spun the nut off, I found the wheel spacer but not the pin, atleast it didnt break.

Took out the nitro 1/8, one point did like 20 cartwheels and now it doesnt turn left very good but everything looks fine.. ugh
