Went a little crazy lately. Bought a new body for the Outcast and a body wrap, the body wrap doesn't fit that great on this body as it was meant for the stock body, but it still looks pretty sick.

Also picked up a LC Racing EMB-T Pro Kit from WarrenRC. It does backflips on 2s. I've beat the snot out of this thing, and so far I have only managed to bend the front cvds.

Mines still broke, keep forgetting to fix it. Winters comming maybe I Can find a decent snowmobile rc to break. I dont want to play in the cold though
 
hey the boys rc likes to go by itself, controller off and all. The only thing electrical on this rc stock is the 550 motor everything else I Have upgraded. I have changed tx/rx and still randomly does it, is the dam esc pooping out?

No most receivers if they do not have a signal from the transmitter will get stuck in wide open throttle. Also make sure your throttle trim is centered.
 


Lrp AI digital esc, no setup its a plug and play. I had the same thing on my detonator before I went brushless.
 
I bought new radio and receiver after the traxxas one I had started being a btch, forward would become reverse etc, then go by itself. I Just dont get this dam thing
 


Am I safe to assume that it is a 1/10 scale brushed esc? Buy a Hobbywing Quicrun WP1060 hobbywing 1060 | eBay. If not I have a spare Traxxas XL-5 esc I could send out your way, it doesn't have a battery connector though.

Didn't like the way the truggy tires handled the loose dirt so I ditched them for some 1/10 buggy "Badlands" tires. Haven't had them out yet, but from what everyone says they are about the best basher tires for these.

I might get some 2.2 Trenchers, as they are taller and wider than the tires I have it now, but that might make this thing stupid wide, it is already wider than it is long with the 15mm hex extenders lol.

After a good cleaning, replacing of some screws, a dye job, a battery strap, new bearings, new shocks, new axles, new tires, center diff, Hot Racing Spur, Robinson Racing 9t pinion and King Headz motor mount.

The VXL system is crap for this truck, going to toss in a Hobbywing Max10 SCT and a 3665 3100kv brushless motor.


Also did this to the Summit. Arrma BLX185 esc and 4074 2050kv brushless motor. I need to do some tidying of the wiring still this thing has sooooo many wires, 5 servos and 14 leds.

Shoe horned a Hobbywing Max8 combo into the Outcast. Just in time, my BLX185 esc let out the green led of death Friday.
