Wooo...looks fun....looks to have much better off road capability than my E-revo. Buuuut...I didn't buy it to offroad. I wanted a fastish street car that does okay in the dirt.

Cen Racing Aqua Jet, watercooled and came with a 700BB turbo motor, runs on 16.8 volts. Looking to go brushless soon and throwing in a 4S

so my esc is rated for 16.8v lol i wonder how long it will last with 2 11.5v 3s 20c lipos running it
 
just read this on towerhobbies "Do NOT use LiPo batteries with the stock motor setup in this vehicle. The EVX-2 speed control is not equipped with low voltage detection."
 
Well..you could still run lipo's...just don't run them dead..but I agree on just getting NiMH. Lipo's are expensive to kill. I have a 3S that one cell is way out of whack.
 


which one is the grub screw. also corey you should still buy them im gonna ask 60 bucks as you saw they are 84 plus tax plus shipping
 
my truck wont run on lipos found that out today. also took it off some jumps and cousin hit a wall at about 30mph guess what happened. it got that supa stance

all i had to do was take apart the ball joint and put it back thru the steering knuckle

i thought about it lol but its pretty damn heavy and not fast enough. its almost 20 pounds and about 30 mph
