i have the same gunmetal tails myself, not sure If I like them either but they kinda flow with my car. Never thought I would own a set but I cannot get ahold of a good factory set.

I have pondered the idea of tinting mine with red candy but I'm not sure what the result would look like.

There were a few q`s about where the tips are from. I have the same ones and you can get them on Ebay. I got them for about 100$. HTH.
