• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

The torque debate...

they just want you to comeback for liability reasons is all
This.

We had mirror tags telling customers to come back after 1000km for a free re-torque when we did lift kits and tires/wheels. You'd be surprised how many nut n bolts need to be snugged up. The more amazing part is how many customers would not return for said re-torque.

I can tighten them then drive for 100 miles and they are a little loose. Usually re torquing them a second time and they are fine. Something with the wheels I was always told.

And yes I tighten them in a cross pattern how you are supposed too.

I agree, the last couple cars we've owned have been like this.

I once had a lady stop in front of my house (I was outside) and ask for help... the lady said the wheel was wobbling, I say OK, I'll take a look. Wobbly, all right. Four of the five studs were sheared off completely, the lug nuts were nowhere to be seen, and #5 was very loose (I could tighten it by hand).

Yeah....

Yeah....

Props for helping out the lady
