for all who know i did drive a ford escort, and many times i would try to talk about it as it was a race car....that really pissed spade off. although i thought spade was a dick at first i have found out that hes rather funny....but on to my topic....the racescort!


well the pos has finally died and i cannot be more depressed....lol! although it was just a lil pos it was the first car the i actually tried to fix/"mod". although i knew it wouldnt run forever i didnt expect that it would throw a rod out of nowhere....so now i am stranded at my gf's house and am forced to drive her gp, and i cannot express how much i HATE bigger cars....i dont know why though. maybe it'll just have to grow on me. it just sucks because in the scort i was able to 90 degree turns at 40+mph but in the gp it feels unsafe to enter the same turns going 25....

this thread isnt supposed to be about how i hate the gp, because i dont, it has incredible pull(in comparison to the scort) and its spacious...i just was it was smaller....lol

well back on topic: i have no car and it suck...that is my rant, and feel free to flame me for any reason i have learned to take any hazing that you guys offer, and i have to thank spade for that one...lol

Now I know mine is a GTP, and it hasn't even broken 100k yet... but I take multiple 90* turns at 40+ on my way home. It doesn't handle like my 01 Miata did in the corners but that is a roadster vs a family sedan, but if it feels unsafe in any turn at 25mph you need to check the suspension... or pull the sand out of your vagina and learn to corner.

People Auto-X gtps regularly, I can't recall too many Escorts at any AutoX's I've ever seen

Just saying either the suspension is bad and you have alot of body roll and that scares you.... or yous a baby. Seen alot of people get scared in sports cars because the car leaned a little and the tires chirped going around the turn. Nothing against you, I get fast cornering even in pos cars... Just saying.

It was also mostly a joke.

For cereal tho, check the suspension, Id bet something is broken or about to be. Seen parts snap and the owner not even notice, but when they go for an alignment because its "driving funny" we understand why

your springs and shocks arent meant to turn well. nothing sold are meant for that either. you'd have to go custom for the car to really handle well. and you'd have to get a giant rear sway bar to help the car move the rear end around.
