the old 3800 series/new 3900

I have been reading alot about the timing chain issue seems to start around 05 and the newest model i saw having the issue was a 09 so hoping 10+ have had a change or maybe not enough miles yet sucks to hear because we are about to buy a 08 malibu ltz good thing for lifetime warranty
