The legendary 4th clutch shaft toast



My Trans just went out tonight and i didnt have fourth its a risk but if you have the money i would get a tripple edge trans there good
 
I've been driving around my 99 GTP with no 4th for 30,000 miles. I figured the trans was about to go when 4 th was lost, but it still shifts strong as a 3 speed. I just keep it in 3rd, so it doesn't whine. Any post with pics on how to change out 4th gear shaft with trans in car? local trans shop wanted $800, i got time just not the money.
