The journey of a 1999 Silvermist Grand Prix

Found a set of GXP calipers at the local salvage yard.

Replaced the seals and boots as the boots were torn on a couple of them.

Wanted to keep them period correct as they came red from the factory. I ended up using the red G2 caliper kit. It’s more of a bright red but overall they came out good.

Had a left over arrowhead vinyl that fit the fronts just perfect.

System is pending to be bled. Will be borrowing my brothers power bleeder.

Finally had the chance to drive it. I had to replace the bleeder screws as well. The rear passenger needed some heat as it was corroded. The driver front was starting to show signs of corrosion as well.

I also paint corrected and ceramic coated it.
