Well this is were it started i bought this 98 gtp 1 week ago. Sadly i dont think the car had a bath since the last time i owned it which was back in 08. So i gave it a bath which made it look alot better.

After the bath i really dont have pictures of it when i got other than some close ups which the fenders are messed up and will need to be replaced

As you can see it needs some tlc. i sold the car back in 08 for 3000 and bought it back for 600 bucks im not getting rid of it again. With there
being 223000 on the car i decided to replace the intake gaskets cause ive been told they go bad.

And of course they are shot. I was shocked just to see that it was not running bad. Well any way in the process of taking things apart i noticed that the air box was more or less used as a storage box for the pcm.(I probably would have engineered a different place but thats just me thinking out loud).

Well i really dont have many pictures of replacing any thing. But so far i have replaced the intake gaskets, the coupler for the supercharger was messed up so i ordered one from ZZP which took like a day and it was at my house which was fricken awsome. I really hate to wait on stuff. I emptied the old oil out of the supercharger which ill tell was the most foul oder ive smelt since i dont know when. It reminded me of 3 week old sweaty dirty scank feet it was bad. Well its got ZZP oil in it now.
Well for now im at a standstill waiting on the new timingchain to get here. i will try to post more when i get more parts thanks guys for helping with this stuff im new so dont yell if i mess up and would love some input on what else i can do to it. I dont want to go over board with it but i want it to be impressive.

i have not replaced it yet im still waiting for it. besides i woulndnt know what to get with out having to change a bunch of other stuff

well today i came home to a new timing chain from comp cams tapit cover gaskets and new wires in the morning will the start of putting everything back together.

Your about 2 steps from doing a camshaft install though. The main step is getting down to the LIM which you've done and then taking the timing cover off which you'll be doing when you change the timing chain. All that's left is to drop the passenger side of the subframe and pull the cam out.

thanks guys i was planing on it what color do u think. i got plug wires that r blue and i want to do the feul lines blue also. i was thinking possibly doing like a copper or burnt orange color for the s/c

Do the blower in Purple lol.
VS XP or S1X. With the VS you can use stock valve train parts but new replacement or LS6 springs would be recommended the XP and S1X you need 105# springs.

is there a place that u would recomend me to get it. It sounds good but im not sure were to start looking besides zzp thats about it. is there any packages that i can look up

Paint the blower black or silver! Copper would clash w/ blue wires and such. VS cam is what I run. Went that route to keep it more DD friendlier. Didn't want anything that I would hate driving. Some DD w/ the XP cam though w/o any issues more of a preference. Check the classfieds here you may be able to find a used cam for much cheaper.

well huys i took a gander through the classifieds and wow there is alot of stuff there. Bad thing is that im not sure what half of that stuff is and what it does. just like slick2500 says IIrc. were can i find it. i understand the supporting mods thing. i guess what im trying to say is I have alot of learning to do on knowing what will work with what.

well no progress was made today on getting things buttoned up in account that the timing chain was the wrong one. it was for a 350 buick
