• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I don't want a vid of the first road test. I want to simply hear..it's all good. Especially since I'll see it on the return trip.

You won't be seeing it for a little while yet, Bill. Even once the car is running and mobile, it still needs paint work...so all this work leads to lots and lots and lots of sanding. LOL

Awesome progress man! Sucks that you found so much rust. Its stuff like that that always sets these projects back. I had to cut out the radiator support of my car and weld in a new one during my swap. I might have missed it but are you planning a hand e-brake at all?

Nope, still rocking the foot e-brake. It's out of my way so I figure it can stay there. It'll be like driving my 86 F-250 all over again. Hopefully with better fuel mileage though! :D

Jason..leave it half polished and let him finish it.

Brian.. post pics of your engine mount bracket will ya. I think I'm going to make one.

No Completely true... You don't have the Hi\Low switch for the headlights below the EBrake... :D

I know this because I too used to rock a Ford of that Model...

Well, here's the final update for awhile. I had the car running last night with obvious lifter noise on just my top swap tune. I shut it down and waited until this morning when I could upload a proper tune for it. Then this happened: http://www.grandprixforums.net/car-wont-start-not-your-typical-problem-67124.html

Needless to say, she's not done...she's not running, she's not drivable, and it'll all have to wait as my time in PA has come to an end. It feels like the last three weeks have all come down to just...nothing. I feel that all I accomplished was in vain. Maybe I'll be able to get back to the project soon, but I don't know exactly when.

Thank you all for the support through the build thus far, and special thanks to my dad whom without his help and kick-ass fabrication skills none of this would have possible. I'll update further when I begin the next phase...tear down.
