The Hobo G35, now with retrofits

Re: The silver surfer

Listen the black has a nice contrast, and just because my GF is Canadian doesn't mean my taste is off :P

Re: The silver surfer

How hard would it be to replace my halos in my retrofits? Easy peasy? Also I have some small scratches in my headlights that I want to sand out. Which grit to use? I have a Porter cable buffer also can u just buff them out?

Well considering how your last few easy projects ended up turning into the most difficult thing ever. I'm hesitate to say easy. Bake the headlights up..replace the Gayalos then reseal. Small scratches you can probably get out with 1000 grit if they're not to deep, then compound and polish and apply something over the headlights to prevent them from oxidizing quick. But I would try to avoid wetsanding at first and just try a good compound/polish on the headlights first.

Re: The silver surfer

Lol at gayalos. Thanks for the tips. Gonna buy the halos today and get some silver paint for the car. Where can I find my paint code? My fender needs to be painted immediately. It was repainted but they did an awful job on it.

Re: The silver surfer

Ah nice! But the only major thing with them was drilling out a hole large enough for the plug to go through. Then i used the rubber butyl oto seal it up and seal the headlights. No problems so far!

Re: The silver surfer
