• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Re: The silver surfer

Man we still haven't got those done Jesus! Grab a propane torch from the hardware store and be careful not to burn your car down.

Re: The silver surfer

I know! Ugh lol. Hate the 4x4 status with my rims. I'm going to grab one tomorrow.

Re: The silver surfer

Oh and use a 12 pt socket for the bolts if you have one so you lessen the chance if stripping them

Unless I am taking something out of context, it is general knowledge that a 6 point socket has a better chance of not rounding off.

And a 42-44mm festoon bulb is what you need for the map lights.

Re: The silver surfer

It's hard to round any bolt head with a 12 point socket.. Now I've rounded plenty with a 6 point.

Thats cuz when its metric you use metric not SAE....lol
I am just saying common knowledge about that.....a quick search brings up a lot of different opinions

This is all from personal experience I always use metic when working with out car. I've rounded off plenty of bolt with metric 6 points where I quickly learned to use metric 12 points when possible.

Re: The silver surfer

On the planet where I work, 12 point sockets are designed for 12 point fasteners and hex is for hex.
