The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
Now all I have to do is make the top mounts and grind out the sleeves a little to get them to slide over the housings. Them bam! I finally got these coilovers for the front I've been talking about forever.
My spring hats came in today. All I got to do is a little work to the inside of the sleeves so they'll slide one, then I can assemble the coilovers then slap them on.
I was going to assemble them today, but the sleeves require a little more massaging than I was willing to do. So I handed them off to my machinist buddy who's going to work on them on Monday, hopefully they'll work out good. Otherwise, I got the struts into their housing so they're ready and I'm going to continue to work on the side project of camber plates, hopefully those won't be to far down the road either.
They're Koni retrofits. I bought them used a couple of years ago and had the front rebuilt. Unfortunately though that model isn't made anymore. I got these two rebuilt/revalved for ~$370. I'll eventually get the rears rebuilt as well. I may dig around a while though and see if I can find a 4th since Koni just gave me that 3rd one.
Well the sleeves are going to require work by hand, my machinist could do it but it wouldn't be very cost effective. Need to find the best way to shave aluminum with a dremel now.
