The FWD Cobra: Just one more thing then the MG gets all the attention

Re: The FWD Cobra: rear lowered, spaced, and flapped

that would work to because you wouldn't really notice the fronts
kid i go to school with just bought a set off amazon they were suppose to say "Pontiac" but were blank

Re: The FWD Cobra: rear lowered, spaced, and flapped

I got the front passenger strut mount replaced, the nut was little bit of a pain since the strut started spinning when I was taking the top nut off. The driver side...well that is going to be a complete b1tch to do, going to have to borrow the impact at work and hope it backs off, if not then I don't know what I'm going to do. Anyways the passenger side sits a little lower at least, but no flaps yet, the weather looked like it was about to unleash on me.

These tires are also shorter, this is as much as I could get out of the springs without cutting them.

i dont think he want to be lower with tally crappy sidestreets

Good to know someone know what I'm talking about. I have a friend with a Miata that will take the reflectors off of the road, I don't see how he drives like that.

Re: The FWD Cobra: front passenger lowered, driver side is a b1tch

you swerve. a lot.

im most likely putting the lip back on my car for a photoshoot this weekend and for the rest of the show season. i have no doubt ill rip it off my car no less than 5 times and im not even that low anymore.

If by swerving you mean taking corners a little quick then yes.

For some reason my rear passenger side sits higher than the driver side. I guess I don't have the spring in quite the right position.

Still need to make the endlinks shorter as well.

Oh yea, actually I dont have to swerve on the roads that much actually. The entrances here are bad, I've got dents in my floorboard lol

Re: The FWD Cobra: front passenger lowered, driver side is a b1tch

New fender mod, all you have to do is loose a wheel taking a left turn, it's easy as pie.

Re: The FWD Cobra: came up with a new fender mod

All 5 lugs striped at the same time. That wheel was sounding a little funny so I replaced the bearing and the alignment is a little out. New fender, side skirt, and realign the door, should be good as before.

Re: The FWD Cobra: came up with a new fender mod

HOLY CRAP DUDE!!!

Lucky if that is all you need to do. How did you strip all 5 lugs at the same time??? Did you call Bruce Banner over to tighten them???

Re: The FWD Cobra: came up with a new fender mod

Thankfully the insurance will cover the parts I already replaced so I'm not out that since I need the car for the next few days.

Re: The FWD Cobra: came up with a new fender mod

thats why its always good to torque your lug nuts, most people dont

Someone has one like that in my area. You can step in and out of it. I this he got pulled over for driving under a moving truck. Heh.
