The first ever Buick Allure/ Lacrosse TopSwap

The LA barge one I bought was different than the one I got from zzp. His were perfectly flat on both sides(no ridges around pins) and fit the pins much snugger. I'd given mine away after ordering the zzp one and was pissed lol

Ive just set up my tune. I copied over the timing charts from a stock l32 and reduced it by 10% as a start. I've also set up a base tune for the 60lb injectors. I just changed the flor rate and opening time compared to volts. My offset chart was zereod out from the factory which makes me believe on a returnless fuel system setup it is not needed. If anyone can chime in in some tuning info for injectors im all ears. When browsing the hptuners forums and a couple other places. Only found stuff for other cars, E85 or return to tank fuel systems. Just need to hit up a hardware store and grab some bolts to take off the harmonic balancer. After that its just slapping everything back together. Reassembling the heads and getting ready fpr Friday. Which my only goal for Friday is getting the harmonic balancer pulley off.

Its runs, stupid rich but she runs. Gotta get the injectors all set up. Idles at 14.7 but as soon as you tap the gas down to 10.3.... which is almost rock bottom. Gonna mess with the injector offsets today. Can't imagine my car idles to differently from stock even with the high ratio rockers and port job. So gonna leave the maf alone for now

I wouldn't mess with the injector offset, but if you changed your injectors and haven't changed your injector flow rate, that could cause some issues.

I changed the flow rate, and the injector pw to volts time. Using a base of 1.14ms @ 14v. I made it follow the same curve as the stock injectors being of similar design. I also came across an interesting discovery. My series 3 l26 engine uses ev6 connectors stock

I'm not sure what all you need to change since it's a series 3, but my series 2 only has like 1 thing to change for different injectors. I thought all series 3 had the EV6 wire harness.

What did you change on your series 2 to get it running. My chart is different as well. Goes from -50 to 100 up a on the map. Has to do with map-barometric to use the value off the chart I believe

all I changed was the injector flow rate, I started out using DHP, but then I switched to Hp Tuners, so I would have to check the actual number's when I get home from work.

what you tuning with? dhp? if so all you have to do is open your bin, and a sc bin, then drag the injector folder to your bin, it will copy right over for ya nice and easy.

if your installing 42's, i got a bin file i could send ya to steal from.

you also need to change you map sensor to a sc one if you didnt do that yet. and theres something in the bin file where you can check off a box that says supercharge present, this way your bin knows what it doing, that might be in tiny tuner. you also need to change the map file to a sc one in your bin file.

Im using up tuners. So it's alittle different. I'll update the map and all that. Car runs just idles super lean right now

no headers on there? just a dp? and a gen 5. what kind of timing you running? any kr?

and whats that vac line zip tied to the harness that leads to the battery?

if that tight vac line top of the blower vac tree, is it going to the t under the snout? if so take it off and cap off both sides. thats not right, its doing nothing.

heres a gen 5 vac line diagram clearly some of these things you have blocked off cause you dont have a 04 gtp

I know its not doing anything. Just figured it was better then putting tape on either end until I get some caps. I've got a downpipe, front plog and catback. I also ported out the heads and have 1.9 rockers on there some or right now. But ive got some reduced timing on it. Only have 89 in it with some octane booster. Gonna be putting either 91 or 94 in it. Tanks almost empty. I'll post timing numbers in a bit. And yes its a gen 5

I've got a vacumn hose that wraps around and goes to the map sensor through that gap between the alternator and the supercharger.

I can take a screen shot of my timing later on. So far the computer says it is putting out 230 ft lbs of torque. But I don't know if that's before or after the power train loss. Might take it to a dyno, just dont know of any good ones around my area
