i would really like a four door sports sedan.... i want to be able to go to a brewers game with four people.... but at the same time i cant afford two cars.... so i will take the mix

I'd be willing to bet it doesn't come out as either a Lumina or Chevelle. If anything, you're going to see it become the new Impala. I'm sure they will do the same thing with this they did with the G8, and offer a V-6 version at a much lower cost, which would put it in direct competition with the Imp if they try to sell both.

I'd definitely love to see an Impala SS version of that car, to be honest. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
 


they r only releasing a ss as of now... and it wont replace the impala.... they want to bring back one of the best gm vehicles of the past decade... but only to selll it as a sports sedan
 
I'm still skeptical on the naming, but I really don't care. The G8 was slated to get the SIDI V6 like the Camaro, which I hope will happen with this new sedan as well. The sales literature I have from the G8 also showed the sport wagon and ute which I think would be killer in the states.
