• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

The Brothers' rides

I'm a Trans Am guy, but always had a soft spot for the GPs. My younger bro bought a 98 GT 2-door about 5 years ago and has loved it. He decided it was time for some upgrades, so we bought a 2000 GTP that was wrecked. Upon getting the car home, we realized that the car was way too nice to part out, so we decided to fix it up and "give" it to our youngest brother. By "give" I mean he will be paying us back because he killed his last car that I gave him. He learned his lesson (it was like 2 years ago and he's be carless since), but this time maybe he'll take better care of a nice car that he has to pay for.

Anyway, the first one is my bro's 98 GT. It is bone stock with 175k miles. Plans are for a built L67 and a 5-spd swap. Picking up the new engine next week, still searching for a 5-spd parts car.

And here is the other one, a 2000 GTP with 145k miles. It needs the passenger side doors and fender, plus CV axles and headlights and taillights. We'll have this one finished up next week hopefully.

I may actually buy another GP for myself.

I drive a 3/4ton Suburban with the 454 in it every day. 13mpg really sucks now that gas is hitting $4gal.

Quick update, bro with the red GT put LED tails in it, so we put the tails off of it onto the blue GTP.

Last night I installed some W-body Store half shafts, a new thermostat, new front door (that ended up not matching the blue on the car, ugh) and swapped LS1 brakes onto the front.

Nah, pinstripe is going away (as you can tell in the pic, we were working on it. I despise pinstripes. When I bought that Trailblazer in the background I pulled the pinstripe off while I was filling up the gas tank on my way home from the dealership!
