well, I got bored this weekend and decided to get 100sq/ft. of fat mat extreme. Was enough for 2 layers on the roof, one on the trunk and the entire floor 2 layers in the doors and the rear deck.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems a lot more crisp. As for road noise, i'm running a cherry bomb glasspack and 2 cherry bomb turbo's and its a lot quieter. As for road noise, it made a huge difference, a lot quieter. You can almost whisper having a conversation on the highway. But the biggest thing i noticed was actually its insulating properties, it stays warm for longer and the cabin warms up a lot faster.

my only question is, did your car still have the factory insulation?

And did you put it back in or leave it out?

Oh and I spray foamed the panels behind the doors. Those were the worst vibrating panels besides the roof. And yes everything I took out I put back in.

I found with the positioning of the sub that it would change how the different panels vibrate.

There is still an open spot there haha. I would have got one too if the guy i bought my cam and pulley off of didn't sell both of his.

Let the fun begin, I'm waiting on valve springs from stooopid ups and she will be rolling again but xp'ed!

Got me some used comp 105's zzp retainers, locks and viton valve seals.

For now, Got a local shop porting my spare set out, so hopefully get them done soon and then pick myself up a stage 3 ic or something along those lines and maybe a gen 5.
