Those outlet trim plates are a great way to make your point, very cool. I do the shirt mask thing too lol. Hope Bill can give you a Boost. I know that when a guy is buried in a thrash build, a little willing assistance goes a very long way towards keeping the momentum. Keep checking off that list, you'll win.

Im half dead from this weekend but made some major progress! Only two days left until the event, so I still have a lot of cranking to do....but either way I think I am in a pretty solid position.

Finished all the prep and paint in the engine bay, re-installed all the necessary nonsense and cleaned everything up.

Started off with just a short block, and ended up with an entire assembled cradle! haha. The motor got a few goodies when I put it back together. All and all...I think she will make some steam!

I think the exhaust is my favorite part on the car so far. It came out killer! Not to mention, it must be the shortest downpipe I have ever built LOL

the turbo is the muffler. it wont be that bad.

It'll still be very loud, just like the sloppy mechanics 2500 turbo truck with exhaust straight out the fender.

i got a 3 inch v band clamp for like 20 off ebay. they sell all sizes. you just need to weld the V parts on the pipes.

not quite what I was asking about. the turbine housing is a cast vband vs. a t6 like below.

Bullseye Performance offers the stainless v-band housing. 3" inlet with 4" outlet

I unfortunately did not make the deadline. It proved to be too much work for the time allotted.

Car is almost complete. I spent a lot of time this weekend sorting out the odds/ ends. Mounted the wastegate, built the dump tube, finished the charge pipes, wired the engine side of the harness...etc etc....
