• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Ok, so I've been noticing when I accelerate, (more or less from a stop) something makes a weird vibrating rubbing sound from the front end. Can't really figure it out, I've had 3 mechanics look at it and they said they don't notice anything. This problem didn't start until I put in my new front sway bar. Is it possible I put it in upside down and the "v" in the middle is making contact with the downpipe? Ugh, I really don't feel like taking out that sway bar again....what a pain!!

Yeah, I know, its hard to get an idea of wtf im talking about without actually experiencing it for yourself. Lmao

Get the car up on ramps so the front end is still loaded and check around the exhaust to see if the sway is too close or is touching. If so, then there's your sign, lol...

What bar did you install? Dorman? Did you replace the endlinks as well, along with the sway bar bushings where they bolt to the subframe? I know when I installed my new solid Dorman bar is had a sticker in the "V" that said which way to point it. No new noises since.

Everything looked alright when I put it in, but I could be wrong. Ill have to find time to check it all out. Im not even sure if that's the issue, it was just a thought. Im not sure what else could be happening to make that sound.
