Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

FIREFIGHTER/AEMT
i have a 1998 grand prix gt it has leather

i have rebuilt the transmission, replaced lim uim and coolant elbows

its in decent shape
ac works heat works and the power accessories work,

190,000 on the car.

just trying to get opinions of what it may be worth
thinking of selling

thanks for the input

Even if it looks like a million bucks it would be tough to get more than about $2700 around here. Yep fresh trans counts for nothing unfortunately.

Depending on whos interprets it someone might see the rebuilt trans as the car was beaten or had a hard life. If I was buying it and depending on rust in would give you probably 1500 tops based on mileage.

Yup I looked at one with 300k miles and the trans was shot and he wanted 2500. The thing had no rust and the interior was spotless.

billboost.... it would be sold in tennessee or alabama.....would keep it local.....

but then again i may not sell......its just the little things going wonky right now that has me frustrated

We are here to help if you need a hand figuring those things out.. meanwhile us New Englanders are tough to sell high mileage to lol

In dallas i paid 2500 for my 98 GTP with 90k leather, sunroof, no rust, no rips, tears, nothing. Great condition.

I recently payed $3700 for my 00 GTP with 140k in Iowa. That was competitive with what all of them were selling for. I don't think I would pay much for a 190k car with a rebuilt transmission. Like someone said before, new trans makes me think the car was abused. From reading here, I know the transmission is a weak link on GP's, but the average person probably doesn't understand that. Best of luck to you.

Buying cars was much more fun when I lived in Texas. Rust eats everything up here.
