temperature too high?

I have a 2007 gp gt, bone stock. My temp gauge always stays right below halfway under normal driving and idleing during the 90 degree weather, but when I climb the mountain it will go up to between halfway and the 3/4 mark before it comes back down. Just seems high to me, is this normal?
 


sounds about right. get a torque app for your phone if you have a droid phone, it will tell you exactly what temp it is.
 
Sounds fine, the middle area is roughly 195-200 and when you hit the hills it's prolly around 210-215. With running your AC it won't cool as good either and the motor is working harder.
