Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

TCS light on, ABS light isnt.

Ok, so here is the deal. I have an 01 gtp I am trying to bring back into tip top shape, then maybe throw in a few light mods. There is one thing that is bugging me right now in particular(due to it being winter now). The stupid TCS off light is stuck on. I know about the common problem where the ABS and TCS light both come on, but my ABS light is NOT on, only my TCS light.

Any ideas? Should I just get to checking the bearings? Could it simply be a fuse? Give me something to go on here.

Thanks in advance!

could be a bad hub. have it scanned at a shop for abs codes. something should come up and lead you in the right direction.

Alright, looks like I will be making a trip to the shop when back from my vacation then! I will post back when I find out more, maybe it can help anyone else who has similar problems.

Thanks for the fast reply.

my last failed hub the tc light would flash for no reason, then little by little the car would slow to fast when coasting and pull to the left. yup, damn hub was seizing up.

im guessing you bought it used....hit the tcs switch and see if it goes off (system is on)

you can program the pcm to auto off the tcs upon startup, that way you have to turn it on in bad weather.

its much nicer driving a car that doesnt spaz out when you drive through pea gravel/country roads.

id bet yours is programmed as such

if i turn off the tc in my car it resets when the car is restarted, but thats a regal.

and correction, it was my low traction light that was flashing for no reason.

Yeah, I have pressed the button, it wont turn tc on. Button does nothing. Could it be that it has been programmed to always be off?
