Tax Season!!

I was planning on using my refund to buy most of what I'd need to get my 400 AWHP build going. After some thought I might not be doing that though. Who knows.

I am thinking about getting a build transmission

And I found a shop that has some crazy heads they want to see for $1000 but should be worth about $1700 hmmmmmm.

I ain't planning anything for this tax return because I am still waiting for last years tax return to get here from the federal government.....:th_angry-teeth:

Im still at bay as to what truck i want. i really do want either the 2 door Denali or the 4 door Esky but i also like the older body style (97-00) Infinity QX-4 (Same as a Nissan Pathfinder of the same year). I wasnt doing foreign b/c im bias to GM but i really like that truck. Its sexy

MmM, delicious interest. Sure, the 1% from a savings account ain't much. But a few hundred invested wisely adds up. Or if you're in a tight spot, helps make sure the bills keep getting paid.

It isn't the interest in a savings account that adds up, but the interest I am paying on my mortgage. We have a good savings/emergency fund, and no other debt than our mortgage(s). The interest that is paid on a mortgage is unreal. Most times more than the actual cost of the house. So are working hard to pay off the properties we own. That is where we see real savings at. By paying extra each month. Yes, we could do one lump sum payment at tax time, but we are still better off getting more in our check each pay period and putting that extra directly towards the principle on our mortgage.

I like owing. Why give the government an interest free loan for nothing? I have excellent credit and theirs blows.... double standard.

if im collecting unemployment all year and i chose not to be taxed at that time BUT my wife has worked all year can she claim me? so we can get a return? we have two kids. i forget how it works, its been a few years since i did it myself

paying the gtp off if i get some back i owe ALMOST nothing

well it hasent gone down in a long as time....and people in other countries will buy it 100 percent of them time...as opposed to the un almighty dollar. people have bought and traded gold for a thousands of years...its a pretty safe bet they wont stop tomorrow :)

Cant very well eat gold.

I'm investing in cheeseburgers.

When the **** hits the fan the world economy will consist of blowjobs and cheeseburgers. :)

UI without tax at the check is counted as a 1099 at least in TX.

You can write off expenses towards a job search (Suits, Dress Shirts, Miles driven etc.)

I don't mind owing. I just got a bunch back last year and changed some forms so I should get less back. I guess the ideal is to hit a dead zero.

Sounds like words of wisdom. There's no reason to allow the government to operate on your money all year, when you can operate on it yourself and invest it. I can handle my money better than my government can.

Our tax return is going towards a Jacuzzi tub in our master bath we are remodeling.
I might try to siphon a couple hundy someone near me keeps posting an 04 leather interior on craigslist that needs to be in my car.

arent the qx4's the ones with really bad electrical problems? you'd probably be better off with a 4runner ;)
