The complaining is the fact we are being treated like mushrooms...
We're kept in the dark & fed nothing but sh|t...
 


App for Android phones that help you view forums on your phone easier. Once you've used it, you'll want it on all forums.
 


Reasons are the sites software is outdated, and i don't want to mess with add ons when i am working on other changes that will break these.
 
Again, not trying to be a douche, but I've been an admin on another forum (which had over 10,000 members btw -- it's got more now, but the place is pretty dead) and this stuff really isn't difficult or unstable at all. Usually upgrading forum software is just a few button clicks, and the Tapatalk add-on specifically doesn't tinker with any other part of your settings etc. It's quite self-contained and it won't break anything.

Furthermore, if you mean your other changes will break Tapatalk and not allow it to work, well firstly that's completely false. It's pretty much just a different visual style that gets applied when viewing from a phone. Second, you probably shouldn't make those changes if it disallows a powerful feature such as Tapatalk.

In all honesty the installation of Tapatalk should take about 5 minutes, maybe more if you don't know what you're doing, but still only 10 minutes tops. And to me 5 to 10 minutes of following explicit instructions printed step by step for you with little to no possibility of it going wrong is well worth getting a bunch of people to stfu, as well as enable the site to be viewed more comfortably by more people.

Looks like I ended up making myself look like a douche after all -- oh well.

And...can't you people just live without the chatbox on your smartphone?

Again, patience? I can surf GPF just fine on my outdated Blackberry Tour...just not the chatbox.
 
I can use the chatbox no problem on my cell.

Then why be one? Clean and cut answer I am not going to waste my time putting moduals on vb3 when plans to switch to vb4 are already in the works. I already have 40+hr in the template.
 


thanks for taking time to acknowledge us, have you thought of getting some help as you seem to be very busy. i'm sure there are some quite knowledgeable members on here that are familiar with VB.

No problem, just because i dont' reply much does not mean i get on here. I spend afew hours each week with with just all the emails, that people reply to thread notifcation emails etc. Then changing peoples info on the site, helping someone learn how to post. So its not that i don't do anything with the forum its the other things with the forum keeps me busy.

Hence why the other mods/admin run the front end of the site more than i do. Without them this site would suck because i would have thrown my hands up by now.
