Tap Shift Issue

Having a problem with my 2004 GTP Comp G . Car will sometimes completely die when using Tap Shift. Seems to only die when manually downshifting from 2 -1 at low speed like when slowed down to turn or when coming to a stop . Always starts back up fine . If left in drive no issue . Previous owner had same problem, I never used Tap Shift so it's never been a big deal but I'm getting ready to sell the car and want it right before I sell it . Car has 180k miles, recent trans filter and fluid done by pan drop , fresh plugs and wires and is stock down to the tune as far as I know. Thanks
 


You'll probably have to take it apart and see. I don't understand why it would only do it in manual shift mode.
