i noticed my tail lamps are having condensation inside after sitting in the rain or washing ,i have checked for cracks in the housing, none to be found, any ideas, the vehicle was always garaged...........is the a seal which surronds the tailight top ,possibly the seal is distorted due to drying out ???? i am a bmw tech and find this fustrating, also the insides of the lens is getting discolored ,any way to clean ................my car is pristine and this fustrates me,vehicle has not had any body work done due to auto accident:th_scratchhead:

yes, the seal goes to hell and allows moisture in. This is very common. I am going to speak for Bio and say drill holes in the bottom of the taillight housings.

I did see somewhere on this website a thread where the person took them apart and resealed them shut after cleaning out all of the moisture. Those are about the only other options short of getting new ones or used ones w/ good seals.
