tac adapter for northstar throttle body

zzp says the tac adapter is required to condition the signal from the tps going to the pcm. mine melted on the crossover pipe and dont really want to buy another if it isnt necessary.

if you were using an AFC to scale the MAF signal or using an otherwise stock PCM I could see the benefit. but if you have N* MAF table programmed in I don't see why you would need this.
