Re: SX Koup (Update 4.23.2013)

test drive the turbo regal first. theyre so freaking comfy too.

I've test driven a Regal T. It's nice. I still like the Lacrosse way better.
Another car i like a lot are the new Ford Fusions.

Re: SX Koup (Lowered 4.25)

You are better with forward rack than reverse rack.

Looks good dropped. What does the aftermarket strut market look like for these cars these days?

Re: SX Koup (Lowered 4.25)

Havent really looked into it too much. I think the main companies make some. I know there are some adjustable type ones.

right now i have an odd clunk up front when i am going slow over bumps. Dont know what it is.

Re: SX Koup (Lowered 4.25)

how many miles on it? these cars love to burn through sway bar links and bushings

Re: SX Koup (Lowered 4.25)

24k. I have heard from other people that run these springs they can be noisey sometimes. It is getting a little better and has gone a little lower now and i am really liking it. The ride is decent since the stock sx springs are so stiff to begin with.

Re: SX Koup (Update 4.23.2013)

I pretty much like full sized vehicles. Which is sort of a misnomer because the new full size vehicles are yesterday's mid-sized. Plus, to me the v6 motors seem waaaay better than the turbo 4 motors. I realize if you mod those turbo 4 motors you can get some pretty sick HP out of them but there is no way my wife will let me do anything other than some very mild mods to her car.

Just tune it...Trifecta already has a file out for them. Problem is the way the car limits boost based on MAF readings...so a dyno is pretty tough to get a good read on them.

Intake, catted DP/o2 housing, tune. 305 FWHP/335 WTQ. Less than grand. Still alright on warranty too.

Yup. Logged nearly 2k miles on her car a few weeks ago when in Michigan. Awesome.

Too bad the Fusions are way overpriced and the LaCrosse has the 3.6 V6 in it with all the timing chain issues...yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

Re: SX Koup (Lowered 4.25)

I just helped the guy I work with put coilovers on his, it's on it's nut now. Looks good though. Glad you still like it.

Re: SX Koup (Exhaust 4.27)

Installed!! The exhaust note is amazing! The quality is very very high. I am so glad i went with this over the others.
