Swine Flu

I know russia and a few others are not taking U.S. pork for now. Russia is a PITA tho. Egypt also supposedly ordered all swine to be slaughtered in their country. What a waste. And I though the hype was big in this country. wow.

That is what they are calling it NOW as of TODAY since it is technically not the SWINE FLU. They called this a SWINE FLU due to the way it was contracted down in americas beard.

Because of it being a supervirus which really hasnt killed anyone but mexican nationals and killing far less then what the "normal" flu strain does annually, however thats what it is being refered to now in OUR country.

So again its not SWINE FLU, its a mutation. Now please excuse yourself and go slam your head into a brick wall a few times.

Hoser... good one been awhile since I have heard that one... You could try googling virus, immunology, antibody, VDJ recombination, vaccine, whatever. Basically, you seem not to understand that viruses are "slippery little buggers" -- they mutate. Just because the name "influenza" or "swine flu" or "H1N1" is still used, does not mean that this is the same critter.

Uh yes it does, like I said, do your homework, maybe your parents can infrom you of the REAL swine flu from the 1970's that caused the same scare.

Anyone alive during that time remembers the vaccine used, the needle gun was used to administer the vaccine, and most have scars from it.

actually, the chunk of meat is host enough, gotta throughly cook the pork to destroy the virus. I jsut went thru the ordeal of the probable case this morning and I got all sorts of info from the health dept rep at the hospital.

Its rarely transfered from swine to human however it is transferrable and the first human host got it from a swine farm in his village.

But in every nations defense this seems to be a a fatal illness in the hispanic population of the US and mexico.

Also, how can mexicans call everyone racist for this? I mean statistics speak for themselves.
 
It has to be almost near impossible for an airborne virus to transfer from a chunk of meat where it can not host on new cells to stay alive...

I thought a 11 year old boy died the other day from "swine flu"
 


the funny thing is i was watching the news (only god knows why i left it on) and stupid people are flocking to hospitals because they are too damned ignorant to know that they do not have a deadly disease or anything. then they interview people standing outside of the hospital saying they would rather stand in the parking lot because there are people in the hospital waiting room with masks coughing and sneezing saying "they have got to have something". IT IS A ****ING COLD! NO ONE DIES FROM THE FLU UNLESS THEY ARE STUPID OR HAVE SOME FORM OF IMMUNE SYSTEM DISORDER!

if anyone has ever seen the movie "idiocracy"...just wait, it is going to happen.
