swayed to much

I have a 01 gt bone stock ,i was getting a rubbing on the right front so i took the wheel off and my sway bar was snapped 1" from the mounting point. Has anyone seen this happen, i thought sway bars were solid this looks hollow.

its pretty common. you need a new sway bar.

my rear swaybar link breaks everytime i fix it, because i need new struts bad. could be the same problem with ur front

not talking about the end links, the actual sway bar. it commonly breaks for some reason, but i doubt its related to the struts.

maybe not but mine never broke till my struts started gettin worse, i've replaced it twice already. not with the actual part i actually made my own till i could afford struts so granted if i used the real part it probably wouldn't have broken as easily the 2nd time.

thanks for the input. Will i do any damage driving it i can't afford to replace it right now i've been out of work for 3 weeks (medical card-dot).I hope to be going back to work next week, I don't want my son running into any problems with it. One other question, i think i need to replace the front drivers hub the abs,and tcs lights stay on. The passengers side hub was replaced last year.Is the replacement something i can do in my driveway?

sway bar does not affect driving operation, youre fine. its there for helping body roll, strictly performance.

no, but if yours is like mine you'll probably want to remove the end link with the broken piece of bar so it'll stop clanking on you.

it could be any one of the four, even the new one -- so choose carefully. and yes you can do it in the drive --- but have a bfh handy just in case.
