• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Sway bar upgrade

No montes. And only one impalla and it was red. So 0 of those. I'll keep looking though. I go about once every 2 weeks. I just might man up and pay it since my front sway bar broke at it handles like **** now

Not to jack the thread, but I got a 2001 cop car impala front bar from the jy for 9.99 but the brackets were shot can I use brackets from a regular impala? If not will a 2000 plus Monte work? or what all can I grab from the yard? Dealer claims they are discontinued (I think its bull) so does advanced and o'rielys
)

Go ahead and get polyurethane bushings and end links while you're at it, Energy Suspension makes great bushings and front end links, Moog for the rear links. They help you take advantage of the extra stiffness those bars offer.

Don Rome makes brackets too if you don't want to drill your strut towers for the bars.

The Dorman front sway bar doesn't add much handling advantage, but it's solid where as the GMPP front bar is hollow. I went with Dorman due to where I live. Lots of salt on the roads can eat those hollow bars, so I went solid just to be safe.

Already got new end links stbs etc this is the last piece but thanks

if you order new bushings from energy suspension they throw in new brackets. rear brackets are a bit different than standard bushing brackets iirc.

i reused the brackets on the front with no issues, its a very tight fit but will work. make sure to grease the bushings to prevent squeaking.
