• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Sway bar flipped

I installed all of my new GMPP stuff on the 1st. I went ahead and flipped the front sway when I installed it. It makes quite a bit of difference clearance wise.

If you think taking the front sway bar out is hard, well, try taking out the lower rear trailing arm bolts sometime. Good times did not ensue.

Another trick that might work in helping you clear the DP with the sway bar is to use your jack to gently lift up the DP a bit to give you a bit more clearance. I did that on my old GT when I added the GMPP package to it some time ago. It worked wonders :)

Here are some pictures I took when I had the GMPP sway bar installed on my old GT. Mind you now I did not do the flip when I installed the sway bar, but it shows you how much closer the GMPP rests to the DP.

No it's not to improve it. It just provides extra clearence for headers ect. When you're swaybar is hitting and causing false KR then this is usually a fix for that problem
