Swapping door locks?

So months ago I took my drivers side door off and put my grandpas on because mine was rusting and his Prix was going to the junk yard. Well by the time I went out that night and locked the door, I realized I couldn't get in my drivers side door with my key. So I ended up making a key instead of swapping the locks. I don't know why (probably because I didn't know how to get the lock out). So I use one key to get in and another to start it. That bugs me.

So.. would swapping the passenger side door lock or (whatever its called) with the drivers side work? I wasn't sure if there's a difference, and if so how do I do that?

I get as far as getting to the lock hook thing but cant get it off, and don't know how. I searched the forum and there was a thread about changing handles (closest I could find) but the pictures were outdated so I wasn't 100% clear on everything.

a good locksmith can key your lock to fit your key should cost abot $30 for all 4 locks (doors ignition and trunk)
 
Thanks man. Never knew something like that could be done Ill keep that in mind.

Id like to try this first, since its free, and Id be able to do it. lol.
