I was wondering, will the transmission from a 97 Buick Park ave fit into my 98 GTP?

fit..yes. working correctly is another thing.

The NA PA had a 4T60E and the 98 GTP had a 4T65e HD. If the PA was charged, then they'd both be 4T65e HD's

Crap... let me ask one more question then "Mr. BillBoost" ... how am I able to tell what models the tranny's are?

By which motor it had from the factory.
