Swap= not running, misfire

for right now im just going to change out the LIM for the genIII blower and wait till i have money to change everything... just my own fault for not taking more time to look at everything... but thanks everyone for your ideas!

plain and simple i used a genv lim with a genIII blower, and that dear sir is a no no.... but i didnt use my head and look more into it.. just did the swap and thought that was it.....but for now im just going to use the genIII blower and lim till i get my cam kit, already have a 3500 converter, shift kit, headers. gonna use a 3.0 pulley and spray it, anyone know how much you can spray these motors? i know my ls1 is like a crack whore...but gtpsare a bit new to me! ha if you couldnt tell!! if anything i will post pics of how the lim are different.
 
03 still is a series 2the motor should work 4 a even swap... no changeing the pcm you should run the 98 pcm and should look for a differ maf and tps that is bad... i am 99% sure on that one....

You missed that it had a DBW throttle body, so it was definitely NOT an 03.
 


Everyone has there own feelings on nitrous! i dont think its the cheap way out! i have spent over 1500 on a kit for only a 250 shot! and not including refills or changing plugs! so how is that a cheap way out? everyone has there own way of building a car! sure i could do a turbo set-up or keep moding with the sc... but i want to see what the car can do with mods and spray! im not a roll racer kinda guy! im a from a dig or track! so the bottle suits me just fine!!

blah blah blah, some people like to go fast :D put a bottle on top of your set up and spray it :th_king-normal:


its like saying you should not use the supercharger to go fast, you should do it N/A. there all power adders.

the only reason i dislike nitrous is because you can run out of it. otherwise if you were to have a lot of money on a bet, youd be a damn fool to not throw a bottle in the car.

im on a muscle car forum and it gets kinda competitive come track days. id be a fool if i dident come prepared :th_biggrin2:


not that i have spray yet, but i plan on putting some one and busting a few peoples ass's that i normally could not.

nothing like talkin **** to somone you know has a faster car than you, and them getting cocky cause they know there car is faster, then spraying and busting there ass. its kinda like the back up plan :th_nanana:
