Hey guys whats goin i was plannin on gettin the GR2 struts and the Eibach lowering springs and i was just wondering how that will ride especially on a set of 20s last summer my car didnt ride bumpy on the stock suspension but ive just heard that lowering ur car and what not makes it a lil bumby.. thanks!

i would go with kyb AGX struts, you can adjust them... really good struts. but gr2's would be fine probably. no offense, but this should be posted in the brakes/ suspension section

yea those would b nice but they are like 250 bucks more hah and yea ur right its in the wrong place!! thanks but sorry for postin it here!

hmm hope you have your chiropractor on speed dial lol. I have ssc springs (mild drop) which is of the few with a smoother ride with Gr2's and my ride is bumpy and uncomfortable. IMO AGX's are a waste of money.

haha yea i was thinkin it would pry ride rough but as of right now i need new suspension on the GTX and i didnt wanna go wit new oem

i have that setup, gr2's and eibachs. the ride was alright, but rough. it has gotten progressively worse as i have reached the 55k+ mile mark on them. they look good though.

bio would you suggest the setup though if hes willing to deal with the bumpyness of a tight suspension? or would you suggest getting the agx instead?

Go with the AGX's. Also look into another spring. There are many posts that I have read through out the years of guys getting tired of the rough ride and swap them out for another spring. SSC springs seem to get good reviews if you want more than a 1" drop. Its best to lower it right the first time. Make sure you get new strut mounts and pogo eliminators.

Just to let you know, I ran B&G springs with GR2's many years back and the GR2's wore out after 10K miles. I swapped them out for the GMPP lowering kit and never looked back.

had another quick question is it true if you add shortened dogbones it will help reduce the vibration after you lower ur car

you have two choices for lowering vibration cures: motor mount spacers to raise the engine back up where it used to be or shorter dogbones.

i have shorter dogbones and my vibrations pretty much went away. it isnt as good as a solution as the motor mount spacers, but it works.

i have the GR2s on stock springs it is much more bumpy but ive gotten used to it cause i like how tight the suspension feels in corners. but if you want ride quality then go with a stock or monroe struts.

i was thinkin of gettin the agxs with eibach springs and then throwin on pogo elminators and shorter dogbones i believe it should ride pretty smooth then.. ya think??

You are going to hate the ride with eibachs and 20's. I have read many posts of guys switching to a different spring because of the harsh ride. If you want a low stance look into SSC or B&G springs.

wrong. i ran 19s on my car with worn out GR2s and eibachs. the ride was still just fine. he'll have adjustable struts to work with too, so it will ride just fine.

I was not aware Bilstiens were made for the pre 03 crowd? I know some folks have incorporated them into their pre 03 GP's but its not something probably a lot of us have first hand knowledge about. Someone might, but its gonna be a limited crowd.

I personally am running the KYB AGX's with SSC Gen II springs. The GR2s were to harsh when i had the GR2/SSC combo on my GT. When I got my GTX, I went with the AGX adjustable struts over the GR2's. They still ride rougher than stock, but these are meant to more performance oriented than for a luxury Town Car feel.

But if you are riding 20's and you drop your height to much, you are gonna need to roll your fenders most likely.
