Suspension swap

Ok so here is the problem I have now. My 04 Comp G has 210,000 miles on it and now I have a rod knocking to beat hell. What I am thinking about doing is stripping the car and junking it. What I'm trying to figure out is what suspension parts will fit my 01 GT? I love the way the 04 handles. I'm trying to figure out if I can switch the A-arms sway bar and the struts.

Swap the motor in the comp g. Or sell me the trans lol

If I pull that tranny it's going into my GT.lol if I strip the Comp G I can turn my GT into on he'll of a car.

That would be a bit of work to get that trans to work right. I just swapped the motor in my comp g could have had it done in a day if my other motor was put together first

Yeah I was wondering how much work it would take to swap it. I will probable just get a rebuilt one for the 01 down the road. I will be a happy camper if I can make that Comp G suspension work on the 01

Everything will swap over but the struts are likely junk

Can't be any worse than my GT. everything is wore out on it. Handles like crap. The Comp G handles great.

Swap the struts and Springs. Don't worry about the sway bars

That's what I was contemplating. I might just do the GMPP upgrade on the sway bars and get a new set of LCA's.
