• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Suspension help please!

First off this is everything I have replaced to rule out multiple solutions!

*New LCA(includes ball joints)
*New Sway bar/frame bushings/endlinks
*New moog inner/outer tie rods
*New motor mount
*New poly dogbone mounts
*New moog quick struts
*New driver side cv axle

I'm constantly getting a clunk while turning the wheel at low speeds or parking maneuvers, I've went through every bolt and everything I could think of. Still makes the noise, noise is a CLUNK/POP sound only happens at low speed turning. When I give it some gas from a dead stop(not chirping tires but a quick little ease into acceleration) it sounds like something rocking, same when I'm coming to a stop, it's not like OMG what is that awful noise, but it's there and it's not normal. I'm pretty much lost as to what it could be. Any ideas anyone? Thank you!

sub frame bolts or their bushings could be shot.

you feel it under your feet? i did. i left a sub frame bolt a bit loose. only took a turn and a 1/2 more, and that was aping it.

Dealer fix that? I don't hear it at my feet, I hear it at pass side, wife says she can feel it on her side, it's deff from the front and sounds more pass/middle. I'm honestly tired of throwing parts at it hoping it sticks. Drives like a dream other then that. So fn annoying.

Have this same problem. At least for me It's not the subframe. I have locktight and torqued to 133lb/ft! I'll check out the shaft and let you know.

you notice any play in the wheel? it tq steer bad? my rack had internal slop it did make a little clunk sound, but you had to hammer it then hold on, you had a 50/50 shot of what way it would pull, so you had to be ready for it lol

what i did was got both front wheels off the ground left the wheel locked, had a pal pull and hold one wheel steady while i pushed and pulled the other one. then only could i feel it slop inside the rack. with one wheel held tight if i pushed the other one the locked steering wheel would move back and fourth.

a bad inner tie rod could also make sounds. jack one wheel at a time up, take the wheel off and push and pull the rod by hand, if its bad you'll feel it move or click.

Inner outer tie rods are new. Not much play in the wheel just parked you can rock the wheel from 11-1 and it has the normal ISS sound. But when moving I don't hear the clunk/popping sound until I'm about 1/4 wheel turn, I have to do 3 point turn to park in the garage and it sounds like something is going to break lol its that bad. I'm to the point that I'll just let whatever it is break then I'll know what it was lol sad, but that's the reality I'm dealing with. Wheels up in air with car in moving wheels side to side, nothing, not a peep. Car on ground, wtf is that noise....

I had the same problem, it was my SSCs binding.
Try spraying dry ptfe on spots to see if it stops for a minute.
