Suspension build

Dormans 34 just like the GMPP but one is solid other is hollow. First link will work

Ewgh if GM made the GMPP package for our cars still there would be no reason for us to post our suspension builds... the GMPP package was virtually perfect, it came with Vogtlands w/ Konis... KONIS!!! How cool is that? The only 2 things I'd swap out on the GMPP package would be the rear 19 mm sway bar to the addco 22 mm bar and get the rear high spring rate heightening springs... but that's besides the point now. I've got no idea why your car behaves awkwardly coming off of bumps but I'm sure someone else on this thread has an answer for you! :)

Awesome, will do... the roll is wayyyyy too much up front and I could've sworn that it would've leaned a lot less w/ the stiffer lowering springs and poly bushings on a good oe bar... guess not.

Thanks Eazy, hope I'm not hijacking your thread but am trying to see if some of what you did might help me. My GP suspension work to date on the 98 and the 01 has just been replacing worn parts with OEM equivalent Moog, Raybestos, etc., have not had to deal with the details of tuning the suspension.

Ah you're not hijacking anything, I've got all the info I need and ask around the forum I'm sure someone will know exactly what's wrong.

I'm a little curious about the drag bags... I know the bonnies had the air suspensions but is the drag bag option available for the GP? Can you elaborate a little on how they work?

In the current configuration they aren't. Bonne had a rear control arm with a separate spring, rear strut/shock (based on year) had air for leveling purposes. Aka ... so the car didn't look like a dog dragging it's butt on the ground like a GP. The bag goes inside the spring and helps keep weight transfer to a minimum. However there are many other platforms that something had to be bolted on etc for the bags to be used. So it might be possible to adapt something or maybe there's a better solution.
