Hey guys I got an issue I could use some help with. 97 GTP is surging pretty bad at idle. It is pretty much stock now. Just pacesetters and intake. There are no codes. When I give it just a little gas, it will completely even out. However, when I let off the gas, the RPM's seem to have to catch themselves from stalling(which the car has done a few times over the past year randomly), then it goes right back to the surging idle. This has been a perpetual problem for the past year or so and I'm just now getting around to it. Over the past year it has been consistent without getting any worse. Any ideas where to start?

Check for vacuum leaks.
Clean the TB, the IAC and the MAF sensor.

Sorry, should have mentioned those things earlier. I replaced the MAF a couple months ago, the IAC a few days ago, the TB looks good and I don't see any vacuum leaks. My fuel pump and fuel filter are also new. I do recall smelling my car running rich at stoplights occasionally. I don't see any fuel leaks.
