Recently ive been coming across this surging issue, at first i figured it might be bad gas or something, because it wasnt frequent nor all that hard. It felt mainly like a missfire. But as times progressed its gotten worse. Im at the point i can make it do it, approx. 25% throttle (tps reads correctly at time of surge) mainly betweem 3-4k rpm region is when it surges the most. Any gear. No cel. No picking up any missfire counters. Least not any significant amount and not while.it surges. For the most part all my pids look correct. My three assumptions, (mind you i havent gotten too far into diaging it, just making theories) are partially clogged cat. Something with my fuel delivery. Or trans slippage. Which i tend not to beleive due to the trans having only 8.5k on it. Idk any and all responses would be more than welcome thank you

Hard to guess at it over the internet too.

But I'd start with the simple stuff I guess. Replace just the plugs, inspect the wires and mist water over them with a spray bottle at night, you can see spark jumping/arching. Inspect for any cracked coils or corrosion.

Then I'd be moving on to a possible plugged cat.

Loke i said. It shows no missfires so i dont think its in the ignition system. Sides the plugs n wires are only a year old

Have you removed the TB and cleaned it inside/out? Cleaned the MAF? I'd start there if it hasn't been done as the DBW TB's get all sorts of weird when they get carboned up. That and a dirty MAF.

Maf has been cleaned. n i de-carbed the engine (mainly the tb) anout a year ago for issues i had when i first purchased the car. Ty for the quick responses btw
