Supercharger questions

2000supercharged

Okay guys my buddy has a M90 supercharger and a lower intake for series 2. The coating on the blades that are inside the supercharger is coming off and i was wondering if anybody knew if ZZP when you send it in they recoat them or what they will do. Also wondering what would be a good price for the set i was thinking about $200-$250?

If you can't find a solid, COMPLETE GenIII M90 for a hundred bucks or less, you're getting hosed.

They are a horrible power adder and very inefficient...and yes if the coating is gone, the rotors are shot. Go pull one in your local junkyard.

i mean i wanted to get another one to send it and get it ported and polished and also keep my car running! rotors are not bad the coating just started peeling on one side of the blades there is no raddle between the blades!

If the coating is gone, they aren't worth anything is what I'm getting at.

ZZP doesn't re-coat rotors last I checked.

So, just go find a good set of rotors in a junkyard and toss them in your blower.

oh trust me gen V five is coming just work in progress !!!

all thats done
K&N intake
pacestter headers
waiting for 3" zzp catback
3.5 is sitting in my glove box

ZZP catback = waste of money unless you are somehow justifying spending that much money on something that drones and won't give any gains but noise.

I loved my Pacesetter's, once they were welded up.

With those mods you wouldn't be able to run a 3.5" on a GenV, maybe a GenIII...but get a way to scan it. And go port the GenIII when you swap the rotor packs...let that 3.5" whine.

what do you mean zzp cat back is waste of money 3" all the way FLOW is your friend not your enemy !!!!! why would i get headers and and just push the back pressure just a little farther down the exhaust? and how can i not run a 3.5 on a series 2 i could put that on when my car was STOCK! with the stuff i have done, by zzp i could run a 3.4 if i choose so ! just saying

lol, like .1" makes a difference.

Guy, go read my safely modding thread in the General Tech section if you want reality.

These cars make 200WHP~ stock...and most 3.4" setups struggle to get to 250WHP on a solid WB tune. The factory catback is good up to 350WHP~...give or take a tad bit. And was the car knock free on a 3.5"? Did you have a tuner or an Aeroforce gauge to tell you it was knock free? Or did you just think the increase in torque down low meant it was ok to run? LOL even more at following ZZP's outdated pulley guidelines as well...hell most of these cars are so old they can't run knock free on a GenIII, headers, and a stock pulley.

But I've never been down this road before...I don't know.

You don't understand Fluid Mechanics very well.

Oh sorry plain physics wider tube more air flow and when I throw 3.5 on yes it will have a tune and yeah i know stock exhaust can hold up to 350 and how does fluid deal with exhaust asking for info not to be an ass ??? Or what are u talking about ???
