Okay I put a lashlight inside the blower on the inlet to check if the little boost bypass butterfly was airtight on my gen v and I could see light right on the sides. So i adjusted it closed all the way but theres still light from when the valve opens and closes it rubs on the walls. Will this create enough of a boost leak when under boost to be concerned with or is just about all of them like this. I checked both my gen III's and both were even worse but when on the car they worked great.
So would I just loose like a psi then pulley down and forget or should I replace the brass butterfly

It looks as though it has rubben away a little. So your saying Bio that it shouldnt be air tight or really close when closed all the way.

Thanks Bio
